Line managed fax services are very easy to setup and use:
For
fax machine users:
- No
extra hardware is required. A gateway or adapter is optional.
- Connect
your fax machine, as normal, to a telephone line.
- People
Line will assign a password or PIN to you for either placing fax
calls or Emails over the Internet.
- Fax
calls will be delivered to and received from any fax machine.
- Sending
and receiving faxes is performed as usual.
- For
sending and receiving Emails using fax machines, we'll assign
a personal Email address to you. Faxes sent via this address will
Emailed to email addresses of your choice, and Emails received
at your Email address will automatically print out on your fax
machine. Sending and receiving faxes and Email is performed the
same way, what could be simpler!
For
PCs, PDAs users:
- Connect
a PC, IP Phone or PDA to any broadband Internet connection to
send and receive fax calls.
- No
additional hardware or software is required. Use your favorite
Email software or a Web browser to send/receive faxes. People
Line converts your Email messages and file attachments to faxable
TIFF files automatically for you.
- We'll
assign you a personal virtual fax number for receiving faxes into
your Email in-box.
- Sending
faxes is just like sending an Email.
- Receiving
faxes are received as Emails
