Whether
you're operating a small office, a business unit, or a large company,
People Line provides a wide range of reliable managed
local IP telephone and fax services for businesses.
Hosted Virtual PBX (VPBX) Services: A VPBX can save money for every budget conscious business. A single broadband connection can replace the costly incoming trunks from your current phone company and all calls between extensions servicing telecommuting employees remote office staff outside contractors and others are free. With the VPBX, we manage the service so expensive on-site "conventional" PBX hardware is unnecessary.
For all businesses, the VPBX can be used to reflect a professional profile of the business to callers and to cut the cost of business communications. Call handling is automated via a customizable Interactive voice response (IVR) system to route incoming calls to a selected extension or call hunt group as requested. The VPBX queuing and call park features manage multiple incoming calls during busy periods, providing callers with updated announcements as to call status.
Cut Long Distance costs: The VPBX can be used to route all calls to and from conventional phones wireless and cell phones over the VoIP LD network to greatly slash the monthly long distance phone bill.
In addition, Virtual Calling Cards allow business users to register other phone numbers (i.e., cell phone or landline) to their IP extension account. Incoming calls can be arranged to call all registered phones, at the same time if needed and all outgoing calls from any of the phones can be routed through the VPBX to take advantage of our low cost LD rates. The virtual calling card is particularly advantageous when used to place LD calls from the registered cell phone the cell phone call is routed over the Peopleline network bypassing the higher LD rates of the cell operator and giving the user major savings every month.
The Caller ID Callback feature is a variation on the virtual calling card and can be used to cut cell phone charges in general. To do so the registered cell caller simply calls the Peopleline access number waits for the authentication of the cell's call ID and hangs up. In about 10 seconds the Peopleline switch calls the registered cell back, the cell then dials the called number using the broadband network to do so and the conversation proceeds. The user is charged for the two legs of the call (the call back leg and the terminating leg), which in most cases is a considerable saving over the LD charges of the cell operator. All the user has to do is to check out our rates for the two legs prior to placing the call. This service can also be used to reduce mobile charges for local calls example people with unlimited incoming minute calling plans can use the callback service to set up outgoing local connections and save.
Web Callback service is yet another variation and used when the call ID can't be delivered to the Peopleline server example cell phone providers typically block the call ID to toll free numbers. Web callback allows a registered user to log on to our Web site from any location in the world, provide us with the telephone number they wished to be called back at (a cell or landline) and the number they want to call. The system will then call back the registered user and establish the connection between it and the called number and bill the two legs of the call to the calling users account example the users cell phone. This can be an effective method for the road warrior to cut phone costs when traveling
